Skoda’s LPG car in India - 25th January 2010

The Czech car company Skoda is getting its car for India in LPG version and Greenline engines, capable of low emissions and upgraded fuel efficiency. Aura will be the first to get the LPG which will be factory finish with an optional petrol version. With no time bound venture, Skoda’s Fabia will also be covered under LPG version. In view of this, the unit at Aurangabad will be facelifted with necessary technology. read more...

Mumbai-based Aegis Logistics Limited, India's 2nd largest private operator in the Auto LPG business selling Auto LPG under the brand name "Aegis Autogas", opened two major Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS) in Bangalore. CLASSIC AUTOGAS, next to Fire Force on Bannergatta Road and ABN AUTOGAS, K.G. Halli on Nagwara Main Road. With these, Aegis has a total of 65 stations operational in India, spread across 7 states - Maharashtra (17), Gujarat (20), Rajasthan (7), Karnataka (15), Madhya Pradesh (2), Andhra Pradesh (3) and Tamil Nadu (1) while another 75 - 80 ALDS are under construction. read more...

How ironic that the Legislature spent so much time over the past couple of years trying to figure out how to reduce the price Alaskans pay at the pump for gasoline while continuing to allow our local refineries to earn an acceptable return on their investment.
